Bitter Taste

Hello☆
It is not so cold recently but the night is too cold to sleep!
I'm tall so it is uncomfortable foe me that futon is not much longer than my body....
I want to put futon on from face to feets!!

By the way, today we discussed French or Japanese culture in the class.
First topic was about Starbucks which would open first shop in France but this topic was not enough to talk about whole of the class.
Anyway, after this discussion I became to want to go Starbucks :-), however, I don't like coffee.
It tastes so bitter and it seems to be bad for health, doesn't it!??????
But I like the aroma of coffee♪
I always enjoyed to smell coffee when my mother was drinking.
...Am I cr..a..zy...?

Not only coffee has bitter taste, but also I tasted bitter (had a hard time) in this class because I couldn't sometimes make myself understood.
I know I have to do my best.
But I want to say that compared to some months ago, I became to be able to speak English... maybe☆?

Almost to...

These day are too cold! I'm almost to die...!!!
But school' christmas tree was lightened, and it is very beautiful☆
Time passed so quickly....
I can remind exactly of last year' Christmas.

As I mentioned, I'm almost to die because of coldness but also because of busy schedule.
I have to complete an English report, make a summery, write a report which determine the seminar, do presentation and go shopping to buy my yonger sister' clothes.
Only the last one is not compulsion but I want to! :-)
Oh... busy!
Last day I could sleep only 2 hours.... Wow!!

But if I try hard to do that now, I will gain something good, I believe.

Also I can forget many things I'm worrying thank to sence of busy, however, I notice I have to consider and find solutions....

...Only I can live my life and I cannot escape from it.

"Les Miserables" ...

Now, we are watching a movie "Les Miserables" in English.
I have ever heard the name of the title, but didn't know what the story is about.

In my interpretation, it is a story about a man who escaped from a jail.
But!! he is not bad man. Rather, he is filled with love.
I was moved his kindness....
But because of his kindness, he sometimes faces many critical sutiation (one another man continue chasing him).
It made me so nervous!!
I think his good personality looks like miserableness because he is sometimes without thinking of his own safe.
I want him to be happy, however, I don't know the end... we'll finish watching it on next Monday.
I cannot wait!!

So Much Responsibility!!!

Hello!

Yesterday, we had Eri's birthday party.

It was fantastic :-) Because we prepared so many donuts!

I have never seen and eaten so many kinds of donuts at a time(we shared these).

Like the photo, we made dounuts' tower! It was historical in my life!!!

Let's move on to the main subject☆

Today, the biggest project of this class - stock project finished.

For the first time, I thought it was difficult.

But after finishing, now, I thought it was intersting.

Many classmates bought our stock - The Walt Disney Company. Thank you!!

And I really wish our stock to go up!!!

If it didn't, we would be blamed by them.... ;-o

These days is dry weather.

And I heard that flu have already started prevalent.

Be careful for condition! Of course, I will!! :-)

Now I have many works to do - one report and two projects.

It is hard work for me but I have to do.

Although I know about it, sometimes I cannot.

At that time I depress about myself and think "how insufficient capacity I have"!!

And I am at a loss beacause I noticed that I should have chosen the other department of my college......!!

I'm feeling sad for my foolishness.....

Good Season for...?

Hello.
The day after tomorrow is Halloween and the Autamn Vacation will start.

In Japan, it is said that fall is good season for reading, eating and sports.
What do you want to do in this year?
But for me, season doesn't matter for eating...☆
And I don't feel like doing sports now.
So fall of this year, I will read some books... maybe???

Today I feel bad... My condition is not good ;-o
So(!??) I cannot think something even in Japanese.

Life Filled with Contradictions!!!

Hello! How are you?

I finished the speech whose theme was "Contradiction around Us".
It was very embarrassed to do it in front of people...!!
And I had soooooo many mistakes!!

When I was said to speak about contradiction, I didn't have any idea about it.
And I was so confused to make my speech, afterall I talked about too common subject.
But after finishing that, I noticed that there are many contradictions in the world even except what my friends talked.
I want to give some examples I came up.
・Japan or many countries don't prohibit smoking although it is no merit for health. (I think it is because the tax of tobacco occupies big percentage of tax revenue. )
・There are many people who drink alcohol though they are under 20. And many adults over look.

These are too serious contradictions but I notice I can find a few contradictions per one day!
Oh my goodness, my life filled with so many contradictions and that's why I have to continue worrying about something...
But no worry no life, maybe!!!!!?

Cold...

Recently, the temperature became lower and lower.
... I hate coldness!! Please stay good weather...
But winter has many events so I look forward to them☆

It is always said that Japanese don't think we have specific religion.
Thanks to (?) that we can enjoy many events.
This situation may be incredible for foreiners but I think it is good.
Because if we don't celebrate Christmas, our life become much boring!

I'm sorry I didn't have good idea what should I write on today' blog.
Anyway enjoy even cold season!!

I noticed that I didn't write about the latter half of summer vacation.
So I will write about it.
Frankly speaking, I could have a good vacation though I couldn't conduct all the plans which I wanted to do.

16 August, I became 19years old.

I was celebrated by my dearest family :-)

I am glad that my birthday is in summer vacation. Because if it were not I have to spend my birthday alone!

And...... I did karaoke twice with friends, went to my senior high school (it is under re-constructing now), watched a baseball game at Nagoya Dome, went around Biwa Lake and Kyoto with family, had a camp to practice badminton and play in Ibaraki (it was near sea but weather was bad because the tyhoon was coming!), went shopping and went to Osaka to meet friend.

Oh... I had a sooooo many schedule!!!

I enjoyed very much :-)

Especially, trip to Osaka was good.

I and my friend could talk many things (usually we cannot talk so much because we live far away from each places), could go Kentucky Fried Chicken' buffet (do you know about it!? it is only one restaurant in Japan that we can eat like this way at KFC) and could prepare dinner together.

I want to go there once again (surely to meet her)!

And trip with family was also good!

We rode a dolly that we can see beautiful scenery and ate kakigori in Kyoto.

But I noticed in this summer vacation that "family" don't have to go special place.

We may be able to feel happiness if we have real "family".

...... Can you understand this meaning!???

Anyway I had a great vacation!

I wish that my happiness will continue...

Surely, you too!

The Autumn Semester Started☆

Yesterday, I could watch the beautiful harvest moon.

I really think time passes so quickly......

Spring and summer have already finished!???

I cannot believe!!! :-o

In the autumn semester, I have to do speech in English class.

The theme is "Contradictions Around Us" but I cannot come up with an idea suddenly.

But I want to do my best!!

By the way, I want to go Universal Stadio Japan to buy a vinyl bag of Snoopy☆★ :-)

Sightseeing☆

Hello! Are you fine?

Summer vacation is coming! Yeah!!!

But I don't think so. Why??

......Anyway these days are too hot!!! ;-o

By the way, my local friend came and stayed my room to sightsee many places around Tokyo.

Let me talk about this 3 days memories with photos.

24 July, she arrived at Tokyo sta. and after we went Sibuya and Harajyuku.

But she was tired seeing too many people so we didn't do much there.

When I saw her having been tired, I thought I didn't notice but I have got used to a crowd of people! I could become a kind of city girl!!!???

25 July, we went to Yokohama.

It was the first time to visit there and it was fantastic!!!

China Town had many delicious foods and a night view was very beautiful at "Minatomirai 21".

I think Tokyo is not good place to sightsee because there are just many buildings without any features but Yokohama is good.
I want to visit there once more☆

26 July, the last day of her staying, we went Tukishima.
Tukishima is famous for Monjyayaki.
How to make Monjyaｙaki was strange but it tasted like Okonomiyaki.

After finishing three days, I could visit and know many places or things.
Sightseeing will be part of my life, I think :)

Anyway I'm tired to write a blog because my computer is crazy!

Finishing The Movie Project...

Typhoon is coming! Are you OK?
The place where I'm living has just a little rain.

Last Monday, our English class had a movie show which broadcasted the five movies that we made as a part of that class' activity.

In spite of most of us don't major in taking a movie, all of these were so fantastic!!

But we (especially our team) had a very hard time to make it...

So after finishing it I felt a sense of achievement!!!☆

I want to appreciate all of my teammates and classmates who watched our movie :)

This doesn't have much meaning but I want to show it because I could make it so beautiful♡

Some days ago, I dropped my iPod into the bath room!!!!! ;-o
It didn't work anymore... So I brought it Apple Store in Shibuya.
It costed 9,800yen to repair it!!! Money flew!
I will use it more and more carefully!

......By the way, the test season is coming!!!
I'm so depressed to think about it.
But!! after the tests, we will have summer vacation!! Yeah!☆★☆
I will go Singapore to study cultural diversity as a part of university' class.
And there is camp which go with circle activity' friends.
In addition, I want to enjoy fireworks in Gifu with my close friends♪ (It's just a plan.)

Special Guest!!!

Hello! Today is raining!! How about your place?

We had a guest in English class on 2 and 4 July.

The guest was from Sri Lanka and he told us about his country.

To tell the truth, I have been less interested in Sri Lanka so far.

So it was a good opportunity to know and have interest for there.

To my surprise, Sri Lanka is smaller than Hokkaido!

But tea which is produced there (Ceylonese tea) is very famous, isn't it?

And I was also surprised Sri Lanka' flag had so many meanings!!

Lions are symbol of there so there is lion in the flag.

As you can see, there are four leaves the corner of lion' picture, these mean believer in Buddhism.

And green part shows Muslims, orange part shows Tamils who believe in Hinduism.

Comparing Japanese flag and Sri Lanka', Japanese hardly have meaning!??

Finally I want to appreciate him having introduced his country.

In addition I want to say sorry for him because I didn't listen to much of his lecture because my team had to film a movie!!! ;-<

And!! I wish Sri Lanka to be totally safe.

Western Desserts or Japanese One?

My room is too hot!!! I cannot endure the hotness...

Which do like the best, Western desserts (officialy it is not correct word, "western-style cake" is correct) or Japnese one?
I like Japanese one better, but it depends on my feeling.

I think Western desserts are colorful and beautiful but Japanese one are not except merikiri.

This picture' cake is also colorful, isn't it?

I ate it for my younger brother' birthday (I celebrated his birthday for myself... and it was a kind of excuse to eat it).

But I have ever heard that decorated cakes don't exsist in U.S.A. and other European countries.

And it is common to eat a pound cake to celebrate someone' birthday and so on in those countries.
Then, we have to think decorated cakes are Japanese desserts!???

By the way, what is your favorite one?

I like icecream among Western desserts and zannzai among Japanese one :)
The reason why I like zannzai is I like siratama or omochi and tsubuan...♡

My younger sister is very good at making siratama but she doesn't make it for me...

I plan to ask her to make it during my summer vacation!!!!

However, the time will come more than a month after...!!

I have to wait...

Stress Maker!!!

Howdy!

Last week the Meteorological Agency (気象庁）announced that rainy season was coming.

But since the announcement, there have not been rainy day!

Water will run out, won't it?

But the weather forecast program said it would rain tomorrow.

Despite I'm worry about exhaustion of rain, I don't want to rain...

Last Sunday was also fine and I went shopping to buy some clothes.

Before I became university' student I don't have to wear clothes which was bought by myself.

But now I have to do it!

Although shopping was stress-broker before, it is a kind of stress-maker now... :-<

There are many other problems to being university' student...

But!!! I enjoy my life, maybe☆

Food Culture in Nagoya

Today, let's talk about food☆

What food do you like?

And do your hometown have famous food?

To tell the truth (I didn't revealed that in this blog...), my hometown is Gifu which is near Aichi (capital:Nagoya).

And there is Nagoya' food culture in Gifu.

You may know, Nagoya has many famous foods, for examle tennmusu (shrimps' tempura in rice-ball), kushikatu, uiro (looks like colorful yohkan, taste like chimaki), misokatsu, ankake spaghetti and so on!!!!

Last Saturday my family went to katsu restraurant and I ate misokatsu.

I took a picture so look at it!

You will want to eat it!!?

By the way, do you know morning survice at coffee shops in Aichi or Gifu?

If you go there in the morning (this means about 6-11.am at many shops) and order a cup of coffee, you can get a slice of toast, a egg, a mini drink, jam and coffee of course.

And you must pay only about 300yen!!!

It is one of the example but there is a coffee shop which give us soba!

Can you believe it?

If you visit Aichi or Gifu (not Hida area), I reccomend you to order it!

But I heard that this summer will be very hot...
I think it is affected by global warming.

I try hard using less electricity.
For example, not to keep inserting a plug in an outlet when I don't use it.

Tokyo Tour

Many people worry about the measles(はしか) and my school decided not to do any lectures for one week a short time ago, but I'm very fine!

I haven't had a sick for about 5 years☆

Do you know about this place?

It is a national park and pride its beauty and varieties of plants.

It was the first to visit there and I was very surprised there is such a green-full park.

LOVE Sports!?

Hello, how are you today?

Last Friday, I joined circle activity for the first time.

I'm a member of badminton one.

But I don't have any career being a member of badminton club.

Actually I played volleyball in junior high school.

I was poor at playing it and I didn't like it so much then.

But I have loved playing volleyball since my senior high school' days.

There was a day of competition of ball-game once a year in my school.

And I and my friends were very heated!!

To tell the truth, in second grade our team finished second and we won in third grade.

I thought it was the result of our special efforts.

For example, we practiced everyday' morning and lunch time.

To save time to practice, we ate lunch before lunch time though we are girls...!!

And we also tried hard to make costume, sometimes we did it during class......!!!!

We were bad girls!?

But these days' memories remind me of shining days :) ☆★☆

Dorokei

Do you know dorokei?
It is a kind of catch.
But it seems that dorokei has many other names or many kinds of rules.
For example, I call it keidoro.

By the way, I played it last Friday in my PE class.
I and many students were very heated.
When I was dorobo(thief) who escape from keisatsu(police), I tried so hard to run.
And I falled!!!!
My body took so bad internal bleeding...

Be careful when you play dorokei, or you injure!!

Golden Week Ⅱ

Hello. Did you have nice holidays?
I had wonderful holidays!!
Let me talk about my holidays :)

2 May, I took Shinkannsen and went back my home town after having a class.
By the way, we discussed the merit of living in rural this day's English class.
Some of students told country is quiet.
I didn't agree with them then.
But, going back my home town which is country and has many rice fields, I was very surprised that there was so quiet!!

3 May, I met my junior high school's friend and we went to a shopping mall.
And I bought same nacklace with her♪

4 May was so wonderful day☆
I met five senior high school's friend.
We talked so much about own campus life and so on.
Because we had a lot of things to talk, we heated so much and were scolded by old woman...
After, we went near our senior high school and had dinner.
One of my friend ate too much, it was a little fun... :)
After having dinner, we kept talking!!!!
We wanted to talk more longer but we should go home :-<

5 May, I, my younger brother and sister went our grandparents' house.
I was very surprised that my grandfather started to use a digital camera and a printer and he can use them very well!!
And my grandmother made us so delicious dinner.
I love her cooking ♡

6 May was the last day I stayed in my home town all day long.
I and my senior high school friend did karaoke and talked.
Her singing and talking made me happy.
Thank you~ ♡♡♡

And I left my home town in the morning on 7 May.
I rode on Sinkansen at about 7 o'clock.
And ariived at Tokyo terminal at 9:10.
And!! I had a class soon!!!!
I had to run so I was very tired...
But I thought I had full Golden Week.

Throught having pretty good holidays, I realized the importance of friends and family again.
My friends and family are my treasure :)
I recommend you to cherish people around you☆

Golden Week Ⅰ

Hello! How are you today?

I think most of people in Japan had three days off on last weekend which is called Golden Week.
And I had. But today and tomorrow I have to go to school.
So I couldn't have long Golden Week...

If you were free on last weekend, what did you do?
Last Sunday and Monday, the whether was pretty good, wasn't it?
I thought it was so good whether to go to a picnic☆

By the way, I was in Harajuku which is famous for fashionable town in Tokyo on last Saturday.
But, I didn't mean to go Harajuku.
My senior high school friends invited me to go there the previous day's night!!
And it was the first time to go there.
So I was surprised there was so many people.
And I was very happy because I could go to Snoopy Shop :)

I have four days off on this weekend and I have so many plans.
I'm very looking forward to meeting my old friend!!!!!
I will report this weekend's memory in next time's blog!
